It's the First Day of School! 📚

The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, and the classrooms are ready. Welcome back to school!

Today marks the beginning of a brand-new school year filled with new teachers, new friends, new experiences, and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

For some students, today feels exciting. For others, there may be a few butterflies. And for parents, there might be a mix of pride, excitement, and maybe a little bit of “Where did the summer go?” 😊

As we begin this new school year, let’s remember that a great school community is built by all of us. Students, families, teachers, staff, PTO members, and volunteers each play an important part.

A Few First-Day Reminders

- 🚌 Double-check dismissal and transportation plans.

- 🏷️ Label backpacks, lunch boxes, water bottles, and jackets.

- 📄 Check backpacks for forms and notices coming home.

- 📅 Keep an eye on the school calendar for upcoming events and important dates.

- 💬 Ask your child about their day. Sometimes the best stories come out when you least expect them.

- ❤️ Give everyone a little extra patience this week. New routines take time.

Most importantly, celebrate today. A new grade is a pretty big deal!
