Welcome to PTOMoms.com — a community space built for parents, teachers, PTO leaders, and school-loving superhumans everywhere. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain your rights, responsibilities, and the rules of the road while using our website, tools, and features.

By accessing or using PTOMoms.com, you agree to these Terms. If that’s not cool with you, please don’t use the platform — but we hope you’ll stay!

1. Who This Is For

PTOMoms is for the grownups who make schools run — parents, guardians, teachers, PTO leaders, and school volunteers. We’re not a site for kids. If you're under 13, please don’t create an account. Teens under 18 must have parent permission and supervision to participate.

• Parents: Create and manage supply lists, events, carpools, chats, and more.
• Teachers: Post your wish lists, organize classroom needs, or coordinate with parents.
• PTO Leaders: Host fundraisers, post announcements, and build your school’s online hub.
• Students: You may browse public pages with a parent, but you’re not allowed to sign up directly.

2. Account Responsibilities

When you register, you agree to provide accurate information (no fake schools or PTO titles, please). Keep your login secure. If someone breaks the rules using your account, you’re responsible for what happens.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms, act in bad faith, or spam our community.

3. What You Can’t Do

This is a family-friendly space. That means:

• 🚫 No hate speech, bullying, or harassment.
• 🚫 No adult content, illegal activity, or spam.
• 🚫 No impersonating others or faking affiliations.
• 🚫 No using the platform to promote anything harmful or shady.

We love school spirit — not school drama.

4. Content & Copyright

Anything you post — pictures, lists, ideas, products — stays yours. But you grant us permission to display and share it as needed to make the platform work.

If you believe someone has used your copyrighted work without permission, please send a notice to legal@ptomoms.com. We respect the rights of creators and will take things down if needed.

5. Fundraisers & School Shops

You can use PTOMoms to raise money, sell school-related items, and support classroom needs — but only if you’re authorized by your PTO or school. All listings must be appropriate, transparent, and follow our content rules.

We’re a platform, not a payment processor or fulfillment company. That means any disputes between buyers and sellers are between them. We don’t get involved in refunds or delivery disputes.

6. Safety & Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from kids. Parents and schools are responsible for managing any student-related information shared through the platform.

7. Cookies & Data

8. Third-Party Services

We may link to third-party tools like Amazon (for supply lists), PayPal, or Printify. We’re not responsible for those services, their content, or what happens there.

9. Liability & Disclaimers

We do our best to make PTOMoms safe, stable, and awesome — but it’s offered “as is”. We’re not liable for damages, data loss, school drama, or internet hiccups.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are big, we’ll let you know on the site or via email. Continued use of the platform means you agree to the new Terms.
